Q:People are realizing how disappointing lok has become since the first season. It's just home down hill, the love triangle, everything feels rushed. Atla was so good we just set our standards too high.
I think it’s super cute that you have opinions, but since you decided to come into my inbox with them, I feel the need to inform you that they’re stupid.
Let’s sit down and judge Avatar: The Last Airbender for a second— not the entire series, mind you, but just Books 1 and 2. Imagine if the series had ended at the Book 2 finale— with Zuko being the most hated character since Umbridge, Sokka still being the comic relief, Toph still running away from her issues, Azula still completely 1-dimensional, and Aang still afraid of facing his duties/possibly dead. If it had ended there, it would’ve been a pretty disappointing show, right?
"But it’s unfair to judge something when it hasn’t been completed! You have to see ATLA in its entirely to fully appreciate it!!!" you dramatically scream to the heavens.
Get your heads out of your asses and stop writing Korra off as “disappointing” when it’s only halfway done.
And. stop. comparing. a. finished. product. with. one. that’s. still. in. development.
